On a Personal level
Having been brought up on a farm in Scotland, I trained in Newcastle and worked there for a few years before travelling and working in Australia, Indonesia (dive instructing) and England in various locations. Over time my attraction to £1 flights brought me to Romford for the access to the airports and the multiple cultures in reach of a long weekend!
More recently I have represented England (despite being Scottish) in curling at World Championship level and still undertake competitions for fun through out Europe on a regular occurrence. My team is often made up of various other countrys' players and am still trying to see more of this sport locally as its great for all ages and fitnesses.
This has also helped with my love of travel. With cheap flights from London easily available its not unusual for me to be off on another short adventure. Having completed all country capitals on the European continent there are still corners to visit! I am however very grateful to those that advise me, and to those I meet along the way that add to my journeys and always happy to advise on others plans. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful continent!!
